THE REPAIR RECORD GOES WITH THE WORK
Less retyping · Fewer status chases · Clearer handoffs
FROM THE FIRST SIGNATURE TO THE FINAL HANDOFF
One repair. No lost context.
Your team should not have to rebuild the story every time a vehicle changes hands. Panel Ops keeps the customer, vehicle, claim, photos, documents and work together through each step.
01 FIELD CAPTURE & OCR
Scan paper work orders. Let OCR fill the details.
Your rep opens Panel Ops on their phone, photographs the work order and uploads it directly to your shop. OCR reads the page and pulls out customer, vehicle and claim details, ready to fill the intake form.
Review extracted fields instead of typing from scratch.
Keep the original pages beside the information they came from.
Use digital signing when you need a complete signed PDF.
Confirm the details, then create or link the repair.
From rep to officeThe paperwork and customer details arrive together.
02 PICKUP, RENTALS & CLAIM DETAILS
Get the vehicle in. Have the logistics ready.
Plan the pickup, assign a driver and coordinate a rental or loaner around the repair. Build the driver’s day and review scheduling conflicts before the next trip. The office can see where the vehicle is, who is moving it and what still needs attention before it reaches the shop.
Keep pickup, return and rental exchanges in one schedule.
Attach addresses, condition photos and handoff notes to the movement.
Keep claim details and supporting documents ready for the claim call.
From office to driverThe driver gets the vehicle, address and handoff details.
03 PDR & COLLISION INSPECTIONS
Show the damage. Give the estimator the full picture.
Capture intake photos and mark damage directly on an interactive vehicle. Record dent counts for PDR, or damage type and severity for collision. Panel notes, affected components and photos stay connected to the repair.
Select body panels, glass and component details.
Separate hail observations from collision damage.
Star an intake photo so the team recognizes the actual vehicle.

04 ESTIMATES & REPAIR PLANNING
Keep the estimator in control.
Turn the recorded damage into a complete PDR or collision estimate. Set your shop’s matrices and rates, review removal and installation suggestions, and add the labor, parts and manual items the repair actually needs.
Edit suggested work or turn suggestions off.
Review shared labor and access before adding more items.

07 RETURN, PAY REVIEW & REPORTING

CONNECTED THROUGHOUT THE REPAIR
Keep the conversations with the work.
Customer texts, call history, rep activity and office follow-ups belong beside the vehicle—not scattered across someone’s phone and a separate spreadsheet. Give the next person the history they need to act.

Keep your attention on the repair.
We’ll keep the paperwork, calls and follow-ups moving.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING.
Built around the way shops work.
Is this only for PDR shops?+
No. Panel Ops brings body shop and collision operations together with dedicated PDR and hail workflows. The people, paperwork, estimating and vehicle movements share one workspace.
Can we bring our existing contacts and opportunities?+
Yes. Connect HighLevel or Monday, or upload a CSV or Excel export. Panel Ops helps match fields and suggest where records belong in your workflow. You review the plan, check possible duplicates and choose the location before adding anything. Available notes and custom fields stay with the imported records, and uploaded export files remain available for reference.
Can we keep using paper work orders?+
Yes. Reps can photograph paper work orders with their phone and upload them directly to the shop. OCR extracts customer, vehicle and claim fields into the intake review. Staff confirm the details before creating or linking a repair. The original pages remain available for comparison, and digital signing retains the complete signed document.
Can we edit our rates and estimating rules?+
Yes. Your shop can edit estimating matrices and labor rates, review vehicle-based removal and installation suggestions, or turn suggestions off and enter its own line items. Estimates remain subject to your review and applicable repair procedures.
What about our phone system and accounting software?+
Connected calls, texts and staff-first callbacks require phone-account setup. QuickBooks Online, optional Payroll, CCC ONE and Mitchell connections are planned integration work and are not currently available as live integrations. Existing exports are available.
How does managed support help with insurance?+
Your coordinator helps gather claim details, submit shop-approved documents, confirm receipt and follow up on outstanding answers. Your estimator stays in charge of the estimate and repair decisions.
Do we have to change everything on day one?+
Start with a demo and the workflow your team needs most. Configure shop access, rates, staffing and connected accounts before using live records. Your actual shop setup and integrations need validation during onboarding.
