This notice explains how Panel Ops handles information when you visit our website, contact us, or use a shop workspace.
Information we handle
We collect the contact details and messages you submit, account and membership information, and records your shop adds to its workspace. Shop records can include customer contact details, vehicle and claim information, work orders, photos, signatures, estimates, communications, employee time, and pay settings. We also process technical information needed to sign you in, operate the service, prevent misuse, and investigate errors.
Why we use it
We use this information to operate Panel Ops, respond to requests, set up and support your shop, process the work you ask us to perform, and maintain service security. Work-order recognition extracts information from uploaded documents so your staff can review it. When you choose Managed support, authorized coordinators access the shop records needed to provide the agreed service.
Your shop controls its records
Shop administrators determine who can access their workspace and which connected services they use. If you are a customer or employee of a shop using Panel Ops, contact that shop about its records and business practices. You can also contact us for help directing an access, correction, deletion, or export request.
Service providers and sharing
Our hosting, database, file storage, authentication, and selected integration providers process information necessary to deliver their services. The current hosting platform is Replit and authentication is provided by Clerk. Calling, messaging, and connected CRM services process the contact and conversation information needed for those features. Enabled routing services receive relevant trip locations. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users. We do not sell shop records or use them for third-party advertising.
Sessions and local storage
Panel Ops uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, workspace selection, preferences, and keeping your work available between page loads. Blocking required session storage may prevent the app from working. Public demos use sample shop records.
Retention and security
We retain workspace records while needed to provide the service and handle account, support, security, and legal obligations. Export or deletion requests are reviewed with the authorized shop administrator. Backup copies may remain until their normal retention period ends. Access controls and protected storage help safeguard records; no online service can promise perfect security.
Contact and changes
Use our support form for privacy questions or requests. We may need to verify your identity and your authority over the records. We update this notice when our practices change and post the effective date here. Panel Ops is a business service for automotive shops, not a service directed to children.
